StructureWorks Precast provides a number of tools for the creation of an accurate, parametric model.
StructureWorks, the only 3-D, parametric enterprise solution built on an industry-standard database, Microsoft® SQL Server, is focused on and dedicated to the needs of the manufactured concrete construction market. This non-proprietary database is completely open and accessible. The data model logically follows the manufacturing process. The most significant benefit is the sharing of common data across the entire enterprise by synchronizing and automating all erection drawings, details, piece drawings, bills of material, and engineering content. Changes that occur in the model automatically update in the database and can be seen across the enterprise from standard Microsoft® Office applications. Creating a parametric query in Microsoft® Access or Excel without a locally-running CAD system is core functionality.
Rendering and Animation is made available by PhotoWorks™ and SolidWorks® Animator. These products enable the generation of photorealistic images or movie-quality animations within the native CAD system.
